How to choose?
When selecting, it is necessary to assess the degree of pollution in the working environment, the operating
temperature and the size of the existing groove. For demanding mobile hydraulics, the
Wiper made of durable polyurethane. For stable hydraulics in clean environments and for
tyre, a wiper made of NBR material is suitable due to its pliability.
If you use a ring with excellent abrasion resistance, you must also use a high quality
piston rod seals, which, like the ring, allow a minimum oil film to pass through.

Material properties
PU
PU wiper rings are primarily designed for use in hydraulics. In comparison
NBR material, PU has a higher durability and a lower quality of abrasion. Resistance
PU ensures a long service life of the wiper rings, for example when used in mobile
hydraulics, where they may be exposed to heavier contamination.

NBR
Wiper rings made of NBR are suitable for hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Should
should operate in a relatively clean environment. Compared to PU wiper rings
they exhibit better abrasion quality, but at the expense of faster wear in abrasive
environment. NBR rings are also suitable for high speed and acceleration rods.
Operating temperature -40 to +100 °C.
PTFE
PTFE wiper rings are suitable for pneumatic or hydraulic systems
operating in relatively clean environments without coarse abrasives. Due to the good
PTFE wiper rings are suitable for short stroke pistons,
high feed rates and high stroke frequencies.
Operating temperature -30 to +100 °C.
