Periflex shaft couplings are flexible rubber hoops that connect two shafts and flexibly transfer torque from one to the other. They ensure smooth running of the machine and eliminate the effects of uneven and jarring drive operation. The coupling is mounted on the flanges terminating the shafts and is firmly held in place by pressure plates.

Construction

Periflex shaft couplings are made of nitrile rubber with a reinforced body.
with viscose fibres. The rubber compound is not resistant to oils, petroleum products
and aggressive chemicals. The operating temperature guarantees the correct
flexibility and service life of the coupling must be between 0 °C and +50 °C.
