Polyurethane O-rings, manufactured from polyester (AU) or polyether (EU) polyurethanes, are thermoplastic elastomers that exhibit elastic behaviour typical of elastomers within their temperature range of use. Polyurethanes are characterised by excellent mechanical properties such as high extrusion, abrasion and wear resistance, high tensile strength and tear resistance. These properties make polyurethanes suitable for applications with high dynamic loads.
