Construction, design, marking
The pulleys are manufactured in a specific, predetermined design (shape)
and material. Technical information about each pulley can be found in our
catalogue or in our e-shop in the product details.
Hub types
For TB housing
Pulley with hub ready for TB
Taper bushing (Taper Bush).
The TB bushing must be ordered separately, according to
specific shaft diameter.

Full charge
The pulley has a full hub in which it is necessary to
drilled to the required diameter before assembly.
The pulley can be clamped with a tongue / groove system or with a clamping sleeve.

Hub for TB holster
The pulley has a tapered hole in the hub for a specific TB number
case. Each case number is produced in multiple variations for different
shaft diameters. When ordering a TB bushing, which is ordered separately,
it is necessary to know its number (part of the TB pulley name) and the shaft diameter,
on which the bushing is to be fitted. E.g. bushing designation TB2012-25
indicates the bushing number 2012 and the 25 mm shaft diameter on which the
the bushing and pulley can be fitted.
During assembly, the bushing is inserted into the hub and loosely, by hand only, into the
the mounting screws are screwed into the pressed holes. This set is
is seated on the shaft so that the tongue fits easily into the groove. Tightening the screws
the sleeve is pressed into the hub and held firmly on the shaft. The TB bushing is
can also be used on shafts without a groove without the use of a locking pen.
However, this will reduce the amount of maximum torque transmitted.
Full hub
- Clamping with tongue/groove system
The pulley has a full hub. Before mounting, a hole must be drilled in the hub with
the same diameter as the shaft to be fitted and a
groove for the tongue. After this preparation, the pulley is slipped onto the shaft and secured
with a feather. The preparation of the pulley with a full hub is more demanding than for clamping
TB bushing. However, in non-typical or mini applications, it has
the use of full hub pulleys is justified.
- Clamping with clamping sleeve
When using a clamping sleeve, a locking pen is not used. In the hub
a cylindrical hole is simply drilled in the collet to match the outer diameter of the clamp
of the clamping sleeve. The sleeve is inserted into the hole in the hub and the whole assembly is slipped onto the
the shaft. After tightening the mounting screws of the casing, the pulley is fixed
fixed on the shaft.
