The dust cover increases the abrasion resistance of the cutting edge. The spring is made of NEREZ steel., The pressure gauge (simmering) is used to seal the spaces around rotating shafts and to separate two liquid or gaseous environments with a pressure gradient of up to 10 bar. The sealing lip is spring loaded, wraps around the shaft and provides the correct sealing pressure.
