The pulley is designed to be fitted with any type of flat belt. The belt should be 10-20 mm narrower than the width of the pulley. The upper contact surface of the pulley is slightly rounded for proper belt alignment, the pulley is clamped to the shaft by a tapered bushing. The bushing and mounting bolts are inserted into the pulley. This assembly is also fitted onto the shaft with a lightly inserted tongue. By tightening the mounting screws, the sleeve is pressed into the pulley and at the same time firmly fixed on the shaft.
