The clamping sleeve is inserted into the cylindrical bore in the hub of the clamping element and slipped onto the shaft with it. As the mounting bolts are tightened, the sliding cones act on each other to expand the walls of the sleeve and exert a clamping pressure on the shaft and hub.The RCK 70 sleeve is suitable for medium and higher torque transmission and for clamping applications that require good concentricity and maintaining lateral perpendicularity. Unlike the RCK 71 type, it does not have a retaining ring to help eliminate axial movement during mounting.
